Each of the Regional Guilds have a Representative on the South African Quilters Guild Committee. This Committee meets annually and is responsible for all the administrative work of the National Guild. The President and the Representatives of the four Guilds that have the largest membership form the Executive Committee, and are responsible for making urgent interim decisions. Regular contact is kept between the guild reps with emails, faxes and newsletters. Each Committee Member has a portfolio for which he/she is responsible. This work is done on a voluntary basis and no honorariums are paid.
