Jenny Hermans

• Serving on SAQG committee from 1989 for two years;  again from 2015 as vice president
• President of the SAQG for 5 years
• Still serves on the SAQG committee in ad hoc capacity as QTAC coordinator
• Served on Festival committee for 4 National Quilt Festivals held in Cape Town since 1988
• Development and dedicated tutor for Quilt Teachers Accreditation since inception and coordinator since 2016
• Tutor for 3 Judges Accreditation Courses and contributed in writing Judges Study Guide, setting up Competition Categories and Criteria and Rules and Conditions for National Competitions
• Established outreach groups through the Dorkas Project and developed the Tiny Hands Projects aimed at young quilters
• Displayed work in shows, exhibitions and competitions, nationally and internationally
